Our Story

Atlas Shuttle of Portland was founded by Rawa Salahaldeen, whose journey started in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, before building a new life in Portland, Oregon. After pursuing higher education in both Iraq and the United States, Rawa continued his studies at the American University of Iraq, Portland Community College, and Mt. Hood Community College.
Before entering the transportation industry, he worked with organizations including Catholic Charities of Oregon and Nike IHM Inc. These experiences helped shape the values that continue to guide Atlas Shuttle today: hard work, integrity, reliability, and service to the community.
What started as a small transportation operation under a different business name eventually evolved into Atlas Shuttle of Portland. With a commitment to professionalism and customer care, the company steadily grew from a local airport transportation provider into a trusted transportation company serving communities across Oregon and Washington.
